ISKCON Mira Road is a Hare Krishna temple, community, and ashram dedicated to the practice of bhakti-yoga or loving service to Krishna, the Supreme Person (God). We are a branch of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), a worldwide spiritual movement founded by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, in New York City in 1966. We have three altars: Sri Sri Radha Giridhari with Lalita and Vishaka Sakhi, Sri Sri Jagannath Baladev Subhadra, Sri Sri Gaur Nitai. There is also deity of His Divine Grace AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada. The uniqueness about this marble temple is the exclusive Vaishnav Tilak design. This temple is one of its kind in the Mumbai western suburbs located in Mira Road. Built in an ornate architectural style, this temple is a blend of modern technology and spiritual harmony. The temple primarily built with Makrana Marble is recognized for its unique architecture which blends the traditional Vedic with contemporary style. The complex also houses one of a kind in the country marble inlays. Another highlight of the temple is beautifully drawn/carved paintings of the Lord along the ceiling. Apart from these, the temple acts as study base for those who wish to study the Vedic scriptures, yoga and provides facility for practicing Bhakti Yoga as given by Srila Prabhupada. We request you to visit our temple and take the blessings of Sri Sri Radha Giridhari.
